From One Van to Birmingham's Go-To Plumbing Team
KC Margaritis launched A & K Plumbing in 2020 under circumstances that required both courage and resourcefulness. After his previous employer passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic, KC was asked by a contractor to personally complete a $400,000 residential project. The profit from that job funded a $500 van and a set of tools from the pawn shop. What started as a one-person operation grew through hardware store recommendations, neighborhood referrals, and a reputation for honest work. Today, A & K Plumbing employs 11 plumbers, operates a fleet of branded blue and white service vans. The business grew because KC treated every customer the way he would want to be treated, and that has never changed.
